Halloween Photo Booth - A Few Ideas

One the things that makes the photo booth so much fun is that everyone gets to dress up. So why not customize a bit on the one day of the year that celebrates dressing up! It's Halloween ya crazy cats! We've been out there checkin' out cool ideas for the those interested in spicing up the booth this fall. Go ahead and check out some of these ideas, and heck! Polaroid-Style Photo Booth

One of the fun things about photo booths and that you can customize themes so easily, which is great for accommodating current trends. One thing that's trending at the moment is polaroids; they're everywhere! So when I came across this idea for a sort of polaroid/photo booth hybrid, I had to share. What are some cool ideas for photo booths that you've seen around lately?

Taylor Swift and the Polaroid

Anyone else digging Taylor Swift's latest album, 1989? It's what's hot right now, so if you're not - you're wrong. In addition to a great album in the musical sense, her photo scheme was on point this time. The album sleeve includes some great Polaroid shots with lyrics written at the bottom to really give in that 80's/early 90's vibe. We love getting creative with photo's so whether it's a Polaroid, a old film camera, or a great photo booth - bring vintage back!

The Name of the Game is the Unicorn Head

Unicorn heads people! It's what's hot! I haven't seen too many people using these yet, but guarantee you that this is a prop you'll want to have. It's certainly catching on and is probably one of the funniest things i've seen since the Bob Newhart show. I'd really like you to go out and get one. These things are only 10-15 dollars and will really change your water. I don't care what event you're headed to next but don't "head" there without a head.

New & Innovative Props

In this world of mustaches and lips and can be hard to find props that are creative and new for the photo booth. I came across this picture below and i think some great ideas can be found here. Whether you're doing a photo booth for a wedding, birthday party, or another special event these props are some great additions to the booth.

Kierra Found The Booth

As you know one of our favorite things to do here at the blog is find pictures of celebrities enjoying the booth, because after all... they're just like us, and everyone loves a good photo booth. This week's edition features actress and bombshell Kierra Knightley. Now, why do we love her? The answer is simple, no one has ever been quite so chic. She has a natural pizazz, not just in the booth but on and off the screen. We raise our glasses to you Ms. Knightley.

Couples In the Booth

We all know that every once in a while it's ok to poke a bit of fun at your significant other. A little humor never hurt anybody and we like bringing that into the booth. Check out this photo bellow of a couple making fun of themselves. Well... actually just the guy. Get used to it gentleman, most jokes when you're dating are about you. It's been a while since we've talked about props. So i'll be brief and very simple. You can't have a booth and not have any props. No matter how simple or cliche it might be, you need them. Here's a few simple ideas, maybe you've already or thought of all of these, but check it out. We've got your hats, your glasses, your lips and mustaches. It's all there. Try some of these ideas, they're cheap. Do it.

Frame Me!

We're always looking for the new and creative, the fun and the fresh if you will. I recently came across a really cool backdrop idea, it's more like a front-drop really. I think it's just brilliant to add yourself to a wall of pictures. It's one of those things that people see and say "hey! i'd like to try that too!" So why not? Next time you have an event try this idea. It's inexpensive and most importantly it's sassy! So get yourself a booth and party!

We're back with our bi-weekly series, "Celebs in the Booth." This week we have Ryan Gosling! Watch out ladies, you can't all have him! The thing i love about these pictures is the vulnerability. There's something a photo booth does to you that i can't explain. Here's a guy who has it all, a great look, starring roles in great films, women, money, etc. And yet, he still has time to take a few pics in the booth. That's great.

Crook in the Booth!

As you know this is the blog that updates you with the cutest and hottest trends in photo boothery. This weeks pick is called "Crook in the Booth!" These folks had a great little wild west themed backdrop with some excellent props! This is a great way to get the kids excited about the booth. Toss some fake money in their and grab a few Clint Eastwood-like costumes at the local halloween store and see what happens! You can't go wrong with this idea. It's simply the best.

This week we're doing our monthly "Celebs in the Booth" post. Where we find pics of a celeb in a photo booth and talk about how great they are. This week we're here with your boy Jim Carrey! One of my favorite actors of all time. When you think of a guy like Jim, it's hard not to laugh. He's been playing a classic role for so long and doesn't get old. He's chipper as ever every time you see him in a film. The one that really got me though, was "The Majestic." This movie really shows him in a different light, playing a totally different character than what he normally does. He nails too. He's an introspective guy who has a lot more to him than laughs and smiles. He's for real.

Summerfest DC 2014

One event we look forward to every year is Summerfest DC. You can always find the best in Beer & Wine from local to national. It's all there. Not only that, but also great food and music. With such a great combination this is sure to be one of the best outdoor events in DC this season. You can find out more at their website. Order In The Booth! : When Enough Is Enough

I don't know how many of my weekly readers actually own photo booths or if you all are just people who enjoy a nice smile. But regardless, imagine this: You put a lollipop in the photo booth and each person who takes pictures that day licks it. Statistics say that by the end of the day 9,347 people would have sucked the lollipop. The same injustice is going on, but with fake cigars and cigarette props in a DC photo booth. This is particularly distasteful because you can taste the last few people's saliva on the cigar. This needs to stop i'm reaching out just to see if anyone will help me.

We've all been aware of the on/off romance between the Biebs and Selena Gomez. But did we know it was happening in a photo booth? For most of us... no. I don't want to question his morals, but the photo booth is not a placing for kissing. No one questions that, and yet they did it anyway. It was hard to see this picture. A photo booth is supposed to be a safe haven for people who don't know where to find love, not a kissing show to make single people feel worse about themselves. But there you have it, so... Celebrity Crush In A Photo Booth

If you could be in a photo booth with any of your celebrity crushes, who would it be? I think it's a question that we all ask at some point so i just kind of want to address the elephant in the room. Who would it be? Be honest with yourself. Maybe they're not the hottest celebrity or maybe they are, but who you are depends upon your answer to this question. Here's mine. I was looking at pictures recently and came across this picture of Audrey Hepburn. Not only is she one of my favorite actresses, she was such an icon representing so many things such as beauty, class, grace, and elegance. I love this picture because it takes me back to the beginning of photo booths and simplicity of it all. I also wish that photo booths allowed smoking, but that's another story. Enjoy this picture, try being this classy next time you're in a photo booth. Not Easy.

Dog's in Booth!

If you're like me, you love taking your dog everywhere. Maybe you've limited the places you go to those that are pet friendly. Or, if you're exactly like me, you've had your eyes removed in order to make yourself legally blind so that, by law, you can bring your service dog everywhere. Well, when it comes to a photo booth i've found a place will allow those with full sight and the blind alike to bring their dogs along for the ride. Check out this photo booth company! They've even done puppy events. Maybe you love your dog but aren't willing to go blind to savor every minute of their company, if so, check this place out.

It's no mystery that everyone loves Instagram, the social medium that allows you to share pictures with your friends. It's also no mystery that for years and years, folks have loved photo booths. I recently came across an idea where someone used Instagram and a photo booth. It's always a fun idea when you can mix a bit of the old and a bit of the new. What does this mean for a photo booth company? It means taking a deeper look at a trend and saying what can i take from a passing trend that is in the moment and what can i take from a long-standing tradition.
